Congratulations to the winning teams in the 2004 Taste
of Sarasota Waiter/Waitress Race:
Join us for this fun filled event as waiters and waitresses from Sarasota restaurants run the obstacle course and are timed on their ability. Each team must properly open a corked bottle of wine, pour it equally into glasses in front of the judges. Then go through a door, set the tray down so the second team member can pick it up, that member carries it through a set of tires, sets the tray down on a table to be picked up by another team member who must then carry it back to the judging table after going up and down the stairs. All without spilling the wine. The wine remaining in the glasses is measured and counts towards the final score. |
 Deductions are taken if they touch the bottle or glasses while running the course. Contestants are judged on:
